Jason H Oates was born and raised in Raleigh NC. He graduated from Athens Drive High School in 1992. He pursued his undergraduate degree at both the University of Hawaii and Virginia Tech; while also involved in athletics. He graduated from Virginia Tech with a BS in Building Construction in 1998.

Before joining his father in business in 2005, Jason worked for commercial contractors in both the Charlotte and Raleigh areas. This experience with wide variety of projects (from churches to high schools, and high end condos to jails) helped to develop his understanding of the building process.

In addition to building quality projects on time and within budget; Jason is also a busy father of three elementary school aged children. He and his wife, Laura, make their home in Cary, NC.
